RLUK Injection Ltd sold to Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC
Capital Law’s Corporate team (led by Angelina Drljaca-Chandler and Melanie Williams, and supported by Dan Wood, Elis Phillips, and Ffion Butler-Rees) has advised the shareholders of RLUK Injection Ltd (the parent company of Injectaclad Ltd) on the sale to Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC (LST).
Injectaclad is a specialist in cavity fire barrier remediation systems, which can be retrospectively installed on buildings without major re-modelling, and used to prevent the spread of fire through building cavities.
LST, a provider of lighting, science and plant monitoring solutions, is listed on AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. The acquisition of Injectaclad will further enhance LST’s opportunities within the passive fire protection industry.
As Angelina Drljaca-Chandler, Corporate & Private Equity Partner at Capital, said:
“It has been a real pleasure to advise the shareholders of RLUK Injection on this deal. Their expertise and innovative solutions within the fire protection space are highly regarded. The sale to LST is a real milestone for the founders and will be a great way to take Injectaclad forward.”
Chris Lewis, one of the founders of Injectaclad, explained:
“A massive thank you to all the team at Capital Law especially Elis, Ffion, Dan & Angelina for their extremely professional service and assistance in what seemed like, at times, a process that wouldn’t reach the end. The team at Capital Law took it in their stride and helped and guided us through the whole transaction to a successful completion. Thanks again all.”
