Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

At Capital, we’re committed to maintaining an inclusive work environment, encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce, and avoiding discrimination.

The SRA require regulated firms, regardless of size, to collect, report and publish data about the diversity make-up of their workforce every two years. Here at Capital, we’re committed to creating and maintaining a diverse, inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone. An important part of that commitment is sharing our responses. You can view our 2023 survey here.

We treat all job applicants and employees fairly — regardless of age, gender, disability, ethnicity, religion or any religious or cultural beliefs, marital status and civil partnership, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity.

This extends to all aspects of the work environment — whether it comes to recruitment and selection, promotion and advancement, reward and recognition, terms and conditions of employment, or  learning and development.

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination — all our colleagues are required to act in accordance with our equality, diversity & inclusion policy.

“Our Way” is inclusive and open on the world — we’re members of several international networks of lawyers, including Consulegis, the China Collaborative Group, and GBL Alliance.

We seek to work with suppliers who share our attitude to diversity — and take such attitudes into account in selecting them.

We help our clients to understand equality & diversity law — so that they get it right, and that their employees know theirs (read more here).
