Sarah is a Senior Associate in our Corporate & Private Equity team.

She advises investors, companies and management teams on a wide range of corporate transactions, with particular experience in the insurance industry.

Sarah acts on UK and international work, including private and public mergers, acquisitions and disposals, private equity transactions and joint ventures. She also advises on general corporate instructions.

Sarah has experience advising insurers, financial institutions, private equity clients and start-ups on regulatory issues, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and reinsurance transactions in the UK, Lloyd’s of London and internationally.

Before joining Capital in 2021, Sarah was based in London as an associate with a large international law firm.

  • The acquisition of BW Riddle by KJB Consulting, as part of a transaction backed by Harwood Private Capital and industry expert Tom Bird.
  • The sale of The Metropole Hotel & Spa, an iconic Welsh hotel independently owned and operated by the same family since 1897.
  • The founders of MidMeds, a leading supplier of medical goods to the primary care sector, on the sale of the company to Rocialle Healthcare (a subsidiary of Shanghai Exchange listed Zhende Medical).
  • The shareholders of film content specialist The Special Treats Production Company on its sale to Once Upon A time.
  • Cover Genius, the insurtech for embedded insurance on the acquisition of Booking Protect, the leading specialist in embedded ticket protection for ticket sellers, platforms and live event companies.
  • APEM Group on its acquisition of GoBe Consultants, a planning and environmental services consultancy.
  • Various FinTech and InsurTech clients on corporate aspects of their internal restructuring projects.
  • IntaPeople, a technology and STEM recruitment agency, on its partial management buy-out.
  • Akoni Holdings on the sale of cash management platform Akoni Hub to Stubben Edge.
  • A legacy insurer in Lloyd’s reinsurance to close transactions and related acquisitions to launch its Lloyd’s of London platform.
  • A consortium of private equity investors in the sell down of their stake in an insurance-focused venture capital investment firm.
  • A US insurance group in the sale of its Lloyd’s of London insurance division.
  • A French insurer in a multi-billion dollar acquisition of a Bermuda-based group in connection with insurance M&A and regulatory matters.
