Elis is a Solicitor in our Corporate & Private Equity team. He joined Capital in September 2023 from a reputable firm based in Swansea.

Elis, a first language Welsh speaker, advises on a wide range of corporate advisory and transactional matters. Some recent highlights include acting on the purchase of a company providing automotive data, the high value asset sale of a private surgical orthopaedic practice, and leading the legal due diligence exercise for a UK target company in the audiovisual sector.

To provide a flavour of Elis’ wider experience, he has acted on numerous share sales and acquisitions, management buy outs and buy ins, asset disposals and purchases, corporate restructures, share buy backs, share allotments, and a breadth of corporate advisory matters relating to the Companies Act.

Advising a telecommunications company on a buyback of shares from its shareholders, in conjunction with a large-scale reclassification of shares as part of a corporate restructure.
