Advising DevOpsGroup’s shareholders on its sale to Sourced Group
Cardiff-based DevOpsGroup has joined Sourced Group – an Amdocs Company and a leading global technology consultancy specializing in large-scale cloud transformations. Capital’s Corporate team, including Laura Spendiff and Hakeem Din, advised the shareholders of DevOpsGroup on the sale to Sourced.
Founded in 2013 by chief executive James Smith and chief technology officer Steve Thair, DevOpsGroup is focused on advising enterprise customers on adopting modern software development models and shifting to cloud-based environments. It acts as both an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner and Microsoft Azure Gold Partner. DevOpsGroup received investment from BGF in 2018, BGF’s first investment in Wales, to fuel the acceleration of the consultancy services, and build on its strong sales momentum.
Sourced Group has a strong global presence with offices across North America, and APAC and had ambition to expand this global footprint into the EMEA region. Its parent company, Amdocs is a NASDAQ listed company and market-leading software and services provider for the global communications and media industry, serving the world’s leading service providers, such as AT&T, BT, Vodafone.
The new partnership will see Sourced Group combine their experience of delivering complex cloud solutions to financial services organisations of all sizes with DevOpsGroup’s significant experience in the EMEA region, enabling the launch of new service offerings further into new territories and with new clients.
