Capital Law advises Chiltern Capital on its acquisition of Fylde Fresh & Fabulous and its group companies
Capital Law has advised Chiltern Capital and its fresh produce group, on the acquisition of Fylde Fresh & Fabulous and its group companies. Fylde Fresh & Fabulous is a leading processor and supplier of prepared potatoes and other vegetables to food manufacturers, specialising in the washing, peeling and processing of potatoes from its sites in Preston and Leeds.
Fylde Fresh & Fabulous adds complementary agronomy, sustainable farming and processing capabilities to the group, reinforcing its end-to-end seed-to-shelf offering. This strategic partnership will enhance the wider group’s ability to support both customers and growers, while continuing to deliver high-quality fresh produce to a sector that plays an important role in UK national resilience.
Capital Law advised Chiltern Capital and its fresh produce group on all aspects of the acquisition. The Corporate and Private Equity team was led by Gareth Williams-Davies and supported by Hakeem Din, Athos Economides and Shakobe Best, with specialist advice provided by colleagues across the firm’s Employment, Pensions, Commercial and Real Estate teams. Chris Lewis, Anukrit Bhargava, Emma Harding and Alice Phelps from Capital Law’s Debt Finance team advised on the financing aspects of the transaction.
