Hakeem is an Associate in our Corporate & Private Equity team, who trained with Capital. 

He acts on all aspects of corporate work and has acted on a variety of transactions including acquisitions and disposals, private equity investments and management buyouts. He also regularly advises clients on corporate reorganisations, corporate governance issues and other general advisory matters.

Hakeem also advises investors and private equity houses on their investments and portfolio management, as well as supporting management teams through corporate transactions. He has acted on transactions backed by private equity houses such as WestBridge Capital, Averroes Capital, RJD Partners, LDC, TowerBrook Capital, Quilvest Capital, Bowmark Capital, Triton Partners, Atlantic Street Capital, Mobeus Equity Partners, G Square Capital, Agilitas and Development Bank of Wales.

He has experience acting for companies, funds and investors across a wide range of industry sectors in the UK and internationally and is familiar with supporting deal teams on complex transactions.

Hakeem speaks Punjabi and sits on Capital Law’s South East Asia desk.

WestBridge Capital
Advised WestBridge Capital on its largest management buyout and investment to date in Techex, a UK cloud and video over IP specialist, in addition to their management buyout and investment in international digital commerce agency Tryzens.

Averroes Capital
Advised Averroes Capital on its management buyout and investment in Journey Hospitality, a provider of unique software solutions for the hotel and hospitality sector. 

TXO
Acted for the vendors of TXO, a provider of telecom network hardware and asset management services, on the acquisition of a majority stake by TowerBrook Capital Partners. 

Hornbill Engineering
Acted for the vendors of Hornbill Engineering, a specialist electrical engineering business, on the sale of the company to Triton Partners-backed OCU Group. 

Silvertel
Acted for t​he vendors of Silvertel, a world-leading electronics designer, on the sale of the company to discoverIE Group plc (listed on the London Stock Exchange and a FTSE 250 constituent).

Acuiti Labs
Supported the shareholders of Acuiti Labs, a global SAP consulting firm, on an investment from Quilvest Capital Partners.
