Collecte Localisation Satellites (CLS) UK Limited acquires Ground Control
Capital Law has acted for Collecte Localisation Satellites (CLS) UK Limited on their acquisition of Ground Control.
Collecte Localisation Satellites, headquartered in Toulouse, France with 31 locations worldwide, is an international mission-driven company which designs and deploys space-based solutions with the aim to better understand and protect the planet, and support the sustainable management of its resources.
Ground Control design and manufacture satellite IoT and tracking devices, specialising in hard-to-reach people and things such as wind farm telemetry and flood warnings. They are a natural fit for CLS, who have been pioneering satellite-based monitoring and surveillance solutions for the planet since 1986.
Capital Law’s Corporate and Private Equity team acted for CLS during the acquisition. The legal team was led by Angelina Drljaca-Chandler and included Chloe Walsh and Sara Thomas, with cross-team support from our employment, pensions, property and commercial specialists, who offered their expertise on the transaction.
