Olivia studied Law LLB at Cardiff University. Following this she went on to complete both her LPC and LLM also at Cardiff University. Her dissertation focussed specifically on evaluating the effectiveness of Deprivation of Liberty Orders for vulnerable children and young persons.

Olivia previously worked in public sector law, specifically in child protection services, adult social care and education.
