Amy is a HR Consultant, supporting our Employment and Immigration team with investigations and general HR advisory work.
She has worked in a HR capacity across various industries and has successfully established HR functions in numerous businesses. Her experience equips her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges encountered by SME’s setting up their own HR departments. Amy’s proficiency extends to developing comprehensive policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and training programs.
Amy excels in navigating intricate employee relations and handling disciplinary and grievance issues. Her expertise further extends to managing complex challenges such as multisite redundancy and restructuring, showcasing her ability to address diverse and nuanced aspects of organisational dynamics.
The division hadn’t had an internal HR team previously and Amy came up to speed quickly, building on her solid experience to develop relationships whilst demonstrating the benefit which HR brings to individuals and organisations.
Amy has strong attention to detail, is a thorough and effective communicator and will challenge when she feels a different approach is called for or a standard needs upholding.
Amy’s sound judgement, resilience and support of others played an important part as the Division went through a period of transformation and change.
Amy was found to be pragmatic, reliable and her desire to partner with others to arrive at the best business outcome whilst caring for the individual made a positive difference. Amy was never fazed by any situation, always remaining calm and looking for the best way to move forward.
