Louise is an Associate in our Employment and Immigration team.

Louise represents and advises both businesses and individuals on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment and HR issues.

She has experience in acting for well-known large employers including healthcare organisations, telecommunication companies and insurance companies.

Louise regularly represents clients at all stages of employment tribunal proceedings including complex employment tribunal claims, involving unfair dismissals, discrimination cases and whistleblowing.

Louise qualified in March 2019 at an international law firm. During her training contract she undertook seats in employment, corporate/commercial and dispute resolution and then specialised in employment law upon qualification.

  • Acting for and advising a public sector organisation at all stages of an employment tribunal claim which involved whistleblowing, automatic unfair dismissal and a range of discrimination claims.
  • Resolving a complex race discrimination claim which had been listed for an eight-day hearing.
  • Drafting and providing advice upon a wide range of settlement agreements.
  • Advising on TUPE related provisions relating to employees who were engaged to provide facilities management services in a complex real estate transaction.
  • Providing advice to HR and managers on a range of ad-hoc queries along with advising upon ongoing grievance and disciplinary processes.
  • Successfully applying for a discrimination claim to be struck out at an early stage of proceedings on the basis it had been brought out of time.
  • Drafting and reviewing a range of employment related documents including employment contracts and company policies.
  • Advising on a range of employment issues arising out of the coronavirus pandemic including drafting letters placing individuals on furlough and supporting companies during redundancy processes.
