Ellis is a Solicitor in our Commercial Disputes team specialising in sports law and general commercial disputes.
Ellis qualified as a Solicitor in July 2023 and has picked up a variety of work across a range of different commercial disputes. His key focus is on sports law and breach of contract claims though he has a particular interest in, and has enjoyed working on, matters that include defamation and trademark infringements.
Ellis regularly advises clients, both businesses and sports clubs alike, on PR strategy. He has prepared several press releases and has been responsible for reviewing statements prior to public release. Reputation management is a key part of his job and one which he enjoys.
He has acted on behalf of football clubs in their disputes before domestic governing bodies and regularly advises on such matters.
