Tom is a Solicitor in our Commercial Disputes team.

Tom specialises in property related disputes and commercial litigation. He deals with a broad range of property disputes and has experience acting for landlords and tenants, advising on nuisance issues, and in relation to property disputes in insolvency cases.

Prior to completing his training contract at Capital Law, Tom worked for an international law firm negotiating deeds of easement and has previously worked in the planning sector pursuing appeals against refusals of planning permission/enforcement notices on behalf of a diverse client base.

  • Advising individual clients in relation to nuisance and harassment by a neighbour
  • Advising a GP practice in relation to an internal complaint and investigation made by a former patient
  • Advising a GP in relation to a claim against them for the recovery of overpaid salary
  • Acting on behalf of the joint administrators for an insolvent company to dispose of the company’s freehold assets
  • Assisting in advising the BMA in connection with the amount of service charges claimed by NHS Property Services (“NHSPS”)
  • Acting on behalf of an individual client to recover sums due from a buyer in a breach of contract for the sale of property
