Emma Chapple
Emma is an Associate in our Commercial Property team, helping clients with all aspects of commercial property advice, including acquisitions, disposals and landlord and tenant.
She joined Capital’s Real Estate team in November 2021 and was promoted to Associate in November 2022. Emma qualified in July 2021 and during her training contract gained experience in both residential and commercial property, as well as litigation.
Emma acts for companies, individuals and educational institutions, and has experience with assisting our corporate department with commercial property aspects of corporate acquisitions.
She also provides advice to GP partnerships with the disposal, acquisition and assignment of GP premises, and is part of the Associated British Ports delivery team.
- Acting for landlord and tenants on a range of leases, licences and agreements including industrial units and London offices.
- Assisting with the drafting and negotiation of leases for a residential development.
- Assisting in the acquisition of a multi million pound site for the University of South Wales which was subject to occupational tenants and had a number of environmental considerations.
- Acting for receivers in the disposal of a property portfolio including the sale of multi-let buildings and dealing with the ancillary lease work.
- Acting on the property side of various corporate acquisitions, which included dealing with property portfolios and advising on associated issue.
- Advising large GP practice in Liverpool in respect of their assignment of various leases to reflect their partnership agreement. Providing advice in respect of a move from one suite in the building to another, which includes the surrender of part, a licence to occupy another part of the building while works are being carried out to the new suite and advising on the grant of the new lease.
- Acting for a GP and their lender in the acquisition of a GP premises.
