Capital Law strengthens its Banking and Finance division with a new appointment and a new promotion

Georgia Diaz has joined Capital’s Banking and Finance team from Hugh James. Since qualifying in 2018, Georgia has specialised in both real estate and banking & finance. She has experience acting for a variety of clients including banks, alternative finance lenders, national and multinational companies, local authorities, and charities. Georgia has particular expertise in real estate finance, grant funding and debt finance transactions.

Christopher Lewis, who joined Capital Law in 2016, has been promoted to principal associate. Chris has a wealth of experience in banking and finance and specialises in a range of debt finance work, including secured and unsecured, bilateral or syndicated, lending both on a national, and international level. He has specialist experience in acquisition and leveraged finance, advising on non-standard lending transactions involving complex structures and security. For his work in banking and finance, Chris was recently described as a ‘Rising Star’ in the 2023 Legal 500 rankings.
