Megan is a Solicitor in our Employment & Immigration team.
Megan advises employers, employees, public bodies, in-house legal teams, school governing bodies, trade unions, businesses and individuals on all aspects of employment law and HR guidance, with a particular focus on contentious matters, workplace disputes, discrimination law, and Employment Tribunal litigation and strategy.
Megan joined Capital Law in July 2023 and completed her training with the firm. She graduated from Cardiff University with a First-Class Honours degree in Philosophy and Welsh, before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and Master of Laws (LLM) in Legal Practice. She was awarded a scholarship to undertake her LLM and received three academic awards during her degree. Her background in philosophy has shaped the way she approaches legal problems, with a focus on finding the best solution for clients.
As well as employment law, Megan also advises on education matters.
Megan is a fluent Welsh speaker and is happy to advise clients bilingually. She can provide legal advice, draft legal documentation and correspondence bilingually and has represented clients through the medium of Welsh in employment tribunal proceedings. She also holds a Certificate in Welsh Advocacy.

Global satellite communications company (London)
Represented a global satellite communications business at Judicial Mediation, conducting advocacy and negotiating the successful settlement of Employment Tribunal claims involving disability discrimination, failure to make reasonable adjustments and victimisation before an Employment Judge sitting as a KC.
UK government body
Represented a public sector organisation in complex Employment Tribunal proceedings involving disability discrimination, securing a favourable outcome.
Welsh transport company
Successfully defended an unfair dismissal claim at a Final Hearing, achieving a win in her first independently conducted Employment Tribunal case.
BMA
Advises and represents doctors through the firm’s BMA Member Services contract, including in claims involving unlawful deductions from wages, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination.
Settlement agreements and exits for a university
Advises on and negotiates settlement agreements, including supporting clients through large-scale organisational change projects, such as a university voluntary redundancy programme.
Trade union
Advises a well-known trade union on complex workplace disputes and employment law issues, successfully resolving matters through negotiation and strategic advice, often avoiding the need for costly and time-consuming Employment Tribunal litigation.
