Angharad Jones
Angharad is a Senior Associate in our Commercial Property team.
Angharad joined our Commercial Property team in February 2020, and assist mainly with banking and corporate support work alongside some landlord and tenant work. She has a particular focus in the healthcare sector.
Angharad has experience in landlord and tenant work, asset management, acquisitions and sales and in banking and corporate support work, including assisting with the property portfolios in sales of large specialist residential care providers.
Angharad acts for banks, borrowers, investors and occupiers and has experience in retail, office and industrial transactions.
Angharad is a fluent Welsh speaking solicitor.
- Advising Arasam Ltd on the acquisition of two iconic buildings in the centre of Cardiff.
- Acting for a charity in their sale of a building that they no longer required.
- Acting for a growing manufacturer in relation to their purchase of a large industrial unit, which was their first property transaction.
- Acting on the purchase of large multi let properties in Central Cardiff for an investor.
- Acting for various lenders on refinancing of portfolios, including a mixed portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
- Advising DBW on various transactions in relation to the property aspects of development sites across Wales with a number of property development executives at DBW, this includes Development Loans to Datblygiadau Moelfre Developments Ltd; Erlas Developments Ltd, Provost Developments (Ross Road) Ltd and Calon Homes LLP. This includes advising and reporting on planning conditions, purchase contracts, planning obligations and other issues.
- Acting for the lender on development finance sites across Wales and South England.
- Acting on a new lease to be granted to a recycling company which will transform their business and enable them to grow substantially.
- Advising the shareholders on the property aspects in relation to sale of care home businesses which included large property portfolios.
- Advising Westbridge-backed APEM on its acquisition of NASH Maritime.
- Advising WestBridge-backed APEM on its acquisition of Aspect Ecology.
- Advising the consortium of investors on the acquisition of Dragons RFC and their Rodney Parade home.
