His 15 + years of litigation experience helps him solve complex business problems for clients in the public and private sector. He is regularly instructed to work on high value and sensitive matters as well as complicated disputes that are difficult to crack.
Guto is described by his clients as pragmatic and commercially sensible, with a knack of unlocking disputes quickly. He has experience of leading teams through campaigns, investigations and court cases. He’s also known for running claims using third-party financing and is particularly interested in exploring ways that his clients can pursue their claims without being burdened by the cost and risk which is often associated with litigation.
Guto is a former trustee of Street Football Wales, a social-inclusion charity that aims to improve lives through football. He is also a director of a family-owned real estate business.

Acting for a training company on their £4.5m claim against a public sector organisation for unpaid training invoices. This case was successfully settled at mediation and was funded through our litigation fund, Capital Dispute Finance.
