Nicola provides comprehensive public procurement advice, guiding clients from the initial planning phases through to contract management. Her expertise includes advising on modification grounds, procurement challenge risks, and determining the suitability of procurement procedures or grant processes for various funding scenarios, including high-level subsidy control advice.
She serves both public sector authorities and market suppliers, ensuring compliance with policy, constitutional, and public sector obligations. Nicola has extensive drafting experience covering a wide range of contracts, policies, and agreements.
With a background in the public sector, specifically within the Legal Department of a County Council, Nicola brings valuable insights to complex procurement exercises and contract management disputes. Prior to joining Capital, she supported numerous high-value projects and provided extensive advice and drafting support for various agreements and procurement and grant processes
