Sioned is a Solicitor in our Commercial team and completed her training contract at Capital.

She works with a variety of commercial clients, providing advice in relation to commercial and corporate issues. Her work includes commercial contracts, data protection, intellectual property and commercial due diligence.

Prior to joining Capital, Sioned studied Law with Business at the University of Liverpool. She then worked at a national firm based in Merseyside assisting with litigated matters before completing the LPC and LLM at Cardiff University.

  • Drafting multiple collaboration agreements for a client providing medical training courses and resources, including clauses to protect the client’s intellectual property rights.
  • Drafting release agreements for a film creator to ensure that the creator’s idea was protected, they had creative freedom to edit the film without restrictions and the contributors were prevented from providing similar contributions to other creators.
  • Providing advice in relation to the sharing of records and personal data between different organisations under the UK GDPR.
  • Assisting clients with responding appropriately to data subject access requests under the UK GDPR.
  • Drafting commercial contracts incorporating UK GDPR compliant clauses and clauses to protect clients’ intellectual property rights as appropriate.
