Natasha is a Solicitor in the Construction, Energy and Projects team.

Natasha has experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction law. She has been involved in all forms of construction dispute resolution from initial negotiations to court proceedings, with particular experience in adjudications. She has worked with a range of clients, assisting and advising employers in various sectors including social housing retail, industry, healthcare, government and education), developers, consultants, funders, contractors, and specialist sub-contractors. She has notable experience with defect claims and advising clients on cladding and external façade works in high and mid to low rise buildings.

Natasha has worked with standard form and amended JCT suite of contracts, NEC3, NEC4, PP contracts and bespoke contracts in disputes, which gives insight into potential problems that could be dealt with in contract drafting and negotiation.

Natasha’s non-contentious construction work includes carrying out due diligence, advising on bespoke amendments to standard form construction contracts, and drafting bespoke construction and development contracts for specific and complex projects requiring innovative contractual solutions. Natasha has also advised on subsidy control obligations for both recipients and providers of financial assistance that may be considered a subsidy.

Natasha has also been involved in the South Wales Industrial Cluster projects and is a member of the second cohort of the Future Leaders’ Group which provides support to SWIC’s deployment project. Her work has included reviewing and advising on collaboration agreements, variation to the collaboration agreements, and providing legal support and input.
