Our Disputes team recently secured a seven-figure judgment for a Claimant in a fraud claim within the High Court. The Defendant brought an application for a stay of execution and made allegations that the judgement had been obtained by fraud.
At the hearing last week, we successfully opposed the stay application on behalf of our client. Not only was a successful outcome obtained for our client, but we successfully argued for an indemnity costs award, with our client being awarded 100% of its costs by the Judge, with no deductions necessary.
