Capital Law reappointed to the Gambling Commission’s legal panel

Cardiff and London-based law firm Capital Law continues its longstanding relationship with the Gambling Commission as part of the Commission’s new legal roster.

The Cardiff and London-based law firm are one of two firms who have been reappointed from the Commission’s 2018 panel.

Capital has worked closely with the Commission’s inhouse legal team over the past 5 years providing legal advice including public, regulatory, commercial, gambling, and information law, on all gambling and gaming caught by the Commission’s statutory remit.

Capital was heavily involved in all aspects of the Fourth National Lottery Competition and continues to support the Commission following the award of the Fourth Licence to Allwyn Entertainment Limited.

Chris Coughlan, Partner in Capital’s Commercial team said:

We’re very pleased to be reappointed by the Commission’s panel. We’ve worked closely with Commission colleagues over the last few years, especially on all aspects of transition from the third to the fourth National Lottery licences, and we’re always made to feel part of their team. We’re excited to be working with the Commission for at least the next 3 years.

Razwana Kausar, Head of Legal at Gambling Commission said:

Capital Law has great client care and work in a flexible way to allow us to meet the demands of the business. I have found their lawyers to be approachable and easy to work with. The legal advice is also comprehensive, practical and solution focused.
