Capital Law becomes Chambers Wales’ first legal Corporate Partner

Cardiff-based law firm, Capital Law, has become a Corporate Partner of Chambers Wales.

Capital is a commercial law firm, used to working with overseas clients and general counsel in global companies on national and international legal issues.

It has become a corporate partner of Chambers Wales, to support the membership body with the delivery of its end-to-end international trade services and to benefit from its extensive network.

Chambers Wales – which has access to over 120 Chambers of Commerce across the world – is focused on helping Welsh businesses to recover, rebuild and grow in a post-pandemic recession with changing global trade relationships.

Capital, the first law firm to become a Corporate Partner, is ideally placed to help Chambers Wales and its members to achieve this ambition.

Collaborating with specialists from international legal networks, including Consulegis, the Global Business Lawyers (GBL) Alliance, and the China Collaborative Group, Capital’s country specific desks support clients across the globe.

The firm also regularly advises the Welsh Government on various policy issues, including Brexit and economic recovery from the pandemic – a remit shared with Chambers Wales.

Elin Pinnell, Managing Partner at Capital Law, said:

Supporting the local economy while facilitating international trade has always been at the core of what we do, and we’ve often collaborated with Chambers Wales over the years. Becoming a Corporate Partner means we can develop our relationship even further, helping Welsh businesses to rethink their international expansion plans in the wake of Brexit and the pandemic.

Heather Anstey-Myers, CEO of Chambers Wales, said:

Welcoming Capital Law as a Corporate Partner strengthens Chambers Wales’ ability to help businesses recover and grow. The expertise of the team at Capital Law will be of huge value to our membership and their international expertise opens opportunities around the globe for Welsh businesses.
