Overview:

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Resourcing Specialist to join our team here at Capital Law. As a Resourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the success of our organization by developing and implementing effective resourcing strategies to attract and retain top talent.

As the Resourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for partnering with senior leaders and key stakeholders to understand their talent needs and align resourcing strategies with business goals. You will identify and source qualified candidates, screen, and interview candidates, and manage the full recruitment process. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to hiring managers, ensuring they have the tools and resources necessary to make informed hiring decisions.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of recruitment best practices and be able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You should have a proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing to on-boarding. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with a diverse range of individuals, from senior executives to entry-level employees.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement resourcing strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to understand talent needs and align resourcing strategies with business goals.
  • Source and identify qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and fit for the organization.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and extending job offers.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Nurture relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent acquisition partners.
  • Work closely with the Resourcing Manager to understand the resourcing needs and objectives of the business.
  • Manage the advertisements for all relevant vacancies, ensuring they are always live across various channels, such as online job boards, internal careers page, website, and social media.
  • Assist in the planning and maintenance of recruitment drives, such as headhunting/talent pooling for lawyers and central services, ensuring effective advertisement campaigns.
  • Search for candidates on online job boards/LinkedIn and use effective emails or phone calls to engage and attract talent into the company.
  • Process requests for recruitment within the business, confirming vacancy sign off, meeting with hiring managers, preparing adverts and job descriptions, confirming timings for shortlisting and interview process, and keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Screen CVs and shortlist candidates on behalf of the hiring managers, using tools such as phone interviews, online tests, etc.
  • Screen and arrange interviews for candidates and complete any other accompanying admin tasks, such as scoring, feedback, interview notes, etc.
  • Negotiate and extend offers to successful candidates, managing expectations and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Create and administer a recruitment database (ATS) to ensure key performance indicators are adhered to, such as time to fill, cost per hire, etc.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on recruitment metrics and trends, seeking continual improvements.
  • Manage and build relations with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, such as hiring managers, HR team, candidates, agencies, etc.
  • Support the employer branding and diversity and inclusion initiatives of the firm, promoting our values and culture to potential candidates.
  • Assisting in the planning and maintenance of recruitment drives for our trainee solicitor and vacation scheme programmes, to include supporting careers fairs and other recruitment events as required.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience as a resourcing advisor, talent acquisition partner, or similar role, preferably in the legal sector or with a recruitment agency
  • In-depth knowledge of the recruitment cycle and the skills and competencies required for various roles.
  • Excellent sourcing and headhunting skills, with the ability to use various tools and techniques to find and attract passive candidates.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Results-oriented and data-driven, with the ability to measure and improve the effectiveness of the recruitment process.
