Commercial Disputes

Simon joined our Commercial Disputes team as a Solicitor in April 2019, having trained with a tier 1 regional law firm.

Simon has experience of advising on a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious matters, with a particular focus on disputes involving breach of contract and infringement of intellectual property rights.

He has a strong track record of resolving disputes on behalf of businesses and individuals at an early stage.

His recent work includes advising on partnership disputes, defamation, high value and complex construction and professional negligence claims and bankruptcy and insolvency matters.

He also has a key sector focus on clients involved in the sports industry and has advised several high-profile sporting organisations based in Wales.

While completing his LPC at Cardiff University Simon worked in a commercial services team which specialised in contracts, technology, intellectual property and data protection.

He also spent time on secondment working as an in-house adviser to a sports marketing agency.

Simon provided excellent advice on partnership law and appropriate strategies. His careful case management helped resolve the complex issues on which I required assistance during what was a potentially very stressful time for me.

His replies to my queries were helpful, timely and considered and I am pleased that we have resolved matters in a way I am happy with.

I would certainly use Simon’s skills and knowledge again.
