Rhys Richards-Jones

Commercial Disputes

Rhys is a Welsh-speaking paralegal in our Commercial disputes team.

He graduated from Cardiff University with a Law Degree in 2016 before working in the Trusts & Estates Administration department for a top 100 Cardiff-based Law firm and then relocating to Beijing, China for a year. Upon his return,  he completed an LLM in BPP University before working as a county court advocate throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, advocating in courts across England & Wales representing large banks, insurance companies, public bodies, landlords and litigants in person in a wide range of disputes including bankruptcy and possession proceedings, small claims and interim applications.

Here at Capital Law, he supports all elements of the Commercial Disputes team and works closely with BMA Law. He has assisted in a £100m+ commercial dispute, is a part of Capital Law’s Debt Recovery team and is frequently involved in the department’s Public and Regulatory work. Rhys has also recently worked with the Employment team in providing advice and assistance during a dispute for a national sports association.
