Capital Law takes part in GBL partner conference

One of the perks of video conferencing is how easy it has become to get together with our international friends, albeit virtually.

Despite the Coronavirus pandemic, iLaw, our Lithuaniuan GBL Alliance partner, have once again organised an insightful and mentally engaging conference exploring the rules relating to posting of workers into various European jurisdictions.

The conference brought together lawyers from over ten European jurisdictions in a virtual setting. Each delegate navigated the attendees through the considerations which clients should have when posting workers into their jurisdiction.

Capital Law were delighted to be invited to attend this conference for the second year in a row – albeit remotely this time. Thank goodness for video conferencing!

Andrew Mazeika – from our Baltic states desk – and Alex Christen – who leads our business immigration team – explained the posted workers rules applying to England and Wales, along with the new immigration regime post-Brexit – relying on both the Lithuanian and English language.

Many of our clients work internationally, and so do we. By fostering relationships with partner firms not only in Europe, but throughout the world, we can help with any legal issues your business may have globally.
