Commercial Solicitor

Business is booming in Wales. In 2016, over 12,000 companies were created, making the Welsh economy the fastest growing in the UK. Lots of companies are relocating here – they’re attracted to devolved decision makers, a highly skilled local economy, and a low-cost base.

As a result, we’re growing exponentially.

From our Cardiff office, we work with government bodies, UK-wide organisations, and innovative tech companies. Many of these disruptive businesses are based in London and derive from our relationships with incubators such as InsurTech Gateway, Barclays’ law tech Eagle Lab and the Trampery. With our larger, more established clients, we often act as an extension of their in-house team on a retained basis. We also regularly advise on ad hoc large commercial projects.

We put our clients first and have a strongly commercially focused and friendly team, dedicated to getting the right results for our clients whatever their circumstances.

The role

We’re looking for an experienced commercial solicitor, with good knowledge of contract and commercial law, to join our busy team.

You must be qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales with 2 – 5 years’ post-qualification experience. A background in intellectual property and data protection law is preferable, and you’ll need to have good experience of drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.

Our Commercial practice is central to our relationship with many of our key clients, across a range of sectors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the ongoing development, growth, and success of the team and the firm. We actively encourage and support business development at all levels.

If you’re looking for a career where your ideas are welcomed, with the chance to make a significant contribution to the business, we’d like to hear from you.

Our benefits include a generous holiday allowance, healthcare package, pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, and childcare vouchers.
