On October 3rd 2005 Capital Law, in association with Acas and Channel TV, celebrated the launch of a unique product, in DVD format:
"THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS"
The DVD strips away the mystery of the Tribunal's procedures and processes and explains them in a simple and straightforward way.
During the launch of the DVD at the National Assembly for Wales, Rt Hon Peter Hain MP said:
"As a former Trade Union official I know all too well what is involved in dispute resolution and the work of tribunals. Avoiding them and trying to reach early agreement is the ideal course of action and in that context I applaud the excellent work of Acas.
But where issues must go to law or to tribunals, those involved have to make a personal investment - and the process can be quite daunting, so any help and guidance they can get is to be welcomed.
I would like to congratulate Capital Law, Acas and Channel TV for their vision in producing a tool to provide effective legal advice on how tribunals operate. It is most welcome to see a Welsh legal practice leading in this way."
