Supporting the Arts in Wales

We are. Are you?

We have, right on our Cardiff doorstep, the only music Conservatoire in Wales, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama which is currently raising money to build long overdue, multi-million pound state-of-the art facilities.

As Chairman of the college, I want to play my part in supporting the campaign, led by Campaign Patron Bryn Terfel, to raise the final £3.5 million towards this £22.5m project.

The college, has a pedigree that stretches back sixty years during which time, it has seen some of the UK and Wales’ finest performing artists pass through its doors including Sir Anthony Hopkins, Dougray Scott, Ruth Jones and Rob Brydon.

By 2011, the college will have been transformed so that the next generation of artists can train on one campus and take advantage of a new concert hall, exhibition space, theatre and four Acting Movement studios.

We can all do our bit to support this fantastic institution by supporting the ‘Take Your Seat’ initiative. For as little as £100, you can name a seat in the new concert hall or theatre, making your mark and enabling so many to enjoy future performances.

Businesses can also provide support by offering sponsorship. We know its testing times but this is a unique opportunity for small and large companies to support a college which always has and will, stand the test of time.

Be part of it. Offer your support alongside Bryn Terfel.

We are helping. Can you?
