Sian advises employer and employee clients on all aspects of employment law. Before becoming a solicitor she worked in banking. Subsequently Sian practised as an employment specialist in London, where her work was predominantly high value and complex litigation for finance sector clients.
Sian heads up Capital Law's Education team, focusing on Further Education, Higher Education and Independent Schools.
She has particular experience in:
- strategic advice on large scale reorganisations
- Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation covering all aspects of employment law
- drafting and advising on employment contracts, policy documents and bonus schemes
- executive disputes and terminations
- advising and representing clients at mediation
- training (both to lawyers and clients)
- radio commentary as an employment expert.
Sian has recently been appointed as a part time Employment Tribunal Judge in the Bristol region.
