Formed in 1992, the firm renamed and re-branded in 2004 as Capital Law. The commercial division was bought out by its partners in April 2006 and became Capital Law LLP.
Our offices are in Cardiff and London.
Our clients are mostly businesses, both publicly quoted and privately owned. They are not impressed with jargon and aren’t tolerant of delays. Neither are we. Our lawyers are straight-talking and proactive; they are strong on the law and keep in mind the commercial objective.
Our People are drawn from a range of backgrounds. Many have joined us from some of the largest law firms in the country; others have grown up with the firm. All share a commitment to being the best they can be and to delivering a first class service.
We work in teams which are structured to enable us to allocate exactly the right resource to each client, whether that client is an individual, a PLC, an SME, or a public organisation.
Teams are headed by Partners and flanked by Consultants, Associates, Solicitors, Paralegals/Legal Executives, Trainee Solicitors and Support Staff.
The firm is managed by a Board and supported by a team of Central Support which includes HR, accounts, PR, marketing and administrative functions.
Some of our people are fluent in Welsh, French, Spanish and German.
